No, in this case people lied about who he was at his core, what he meant, and what kind of future he could offer. This people withheld vital information about how the world inside his head worked.
It's depressing to be able to erase so much history with a filter and a few clicks. But it still doesn't erase the deep sense of betrayal I feel every time someone, man or woman, asks me to let them in. I can't do it. It still doesn't give me those eleven months back, or the dreams he took away by lying to me from the beginning. It doesn't help me to believe in love again.
